Blockers spice up each level with extra challenges, making the game even more exciting and fun!
There are two ways to remove blockers: by making a match next to them or hitting them with an activated power up. Exceptions are noted in their descriptions below.
Boxes - Level 6 |

The Box is the first blocker you encounter. Make a match next to it, or hit it with a powerup, or activate a powerup next to it to clear it. It can take up to five hits to clear it completely! |
Oil - Level 11 |
---|
Oil spills must be cleaned up and can sometimes be under other blockers. There are up to two layers to the oil. Clear all the oil layers to meet your goal! |
Cooler - Level 16 |
---|
If you have soda bottles as an objective the Cooler is what you’re looking for. Release bottles from the Cooler by making a match next to it, hitting it with a powerup, or activating a powerup next to it. When you’ve completed the bottle goal the Coolers will close. |
Cone - Level 21 |
---|
The Traffic Cone is trickier than it looks! Cones can be moved when matching, and they can fall. There may not be enough on the board to complete your goal, but more will fall onto the board when it refills. |
Tool Cabinet - Level 31 |
---|
Tool Cabinet is a blocker with nine wrenches to collect. To complete the wrench goal, you must open the Tool Cabinet and collect wrenches. You can open the Tool Cabinet and collect wrenches by making matches next to a Tool Cabinet, hitting one with powerups, or activating power ups next to one. |
Smoke - Level 41 |

Smoke covers tiles, concealing what is underneath. You must clear the board of Smoke to complete this objective. You can remove Smoke by making a match next to it, hitting it with a powerup, or activating a powerup next to it. |
Hot Steel - Level 51 |
---|
Hot Steel can vary in length. Remove all the Hot Steel to meet this goal. It takes one hit per tile to clear Hot Steel: remove it by making a match next to it, hitting it with a powerup, or activating a powerup next to it. |
Garage Door - Level 61 |
---|
Things are locked behind the Garage Door: you’ll need to open it to complete your goals. The lock shows the number and color of matches needed to open the Door. Any of the right colored matches anywhere on the board will count toward opening the door. |
Oily Engine - Level 71 |
---|
It will take five hits to remove the Oily Engine, and when you do it will leave Oil behind which also needs cleaning up! |
Vending Machine - Level 81 |
---|
The vending machine must be emptied to remove it from the board. Collect the colored Chips bags in each Machine by making the appropriate colored match adjacent to the machine. Hitting it with powerups works too! |
Spark Plug - Level 91 |
---|
To remove Spark Plugs from the board you have to light them all up. Turn the spark on by making a match next to them, hitting them with a powerup, or activating a powerup next to them. |
Hood Ornament - Level 101 |
---|
Hood Ornaments can only be damaged by power ups, and cannot be moved. It can take up to three hits to remove Hood Ornaments from the board. |
Oil Barrel - Level 121 |
---|
The Oil Barrel takes two hits to remove, then there will naturally be oil to clean up. Barrels can be moved when matching, and they can fall. |
Tire - Level 141 |
---|
Power ups and moves won’t affect tires! Instead, remove the tokens and blockers below them to make the tires fall. When all the tires have fallen off the bottom of the board, you’ll finish this goal. |
Headlight - Level 161 |
---|
Headlights take two hits to clear - first you must turn them off, then break them. Headlights can fall and be swapped. |
Radiator - Level 181 |
---|
Radiators take five hits to destroy, and can only be damaged by power ups. |
Air Vent - Level 201 |
---|
Air Vents teleport tokens and blockers that can fall from the bottom of one column to the top of another. They are not an objective and cannot be removed from the board. |
Forge - Level 231 |
---|
Hit the Forge three times to heat it up and make it produce blue tokens. You must collect all blue tokens spawned from Forge. Forges close when there are enough blue tokens on the board for the objective. |
Tire Rack - Level 261 |
---|
Tire Rack holds Tires, and must be destroyed so the tires can be collected. Hit the Tire Rack four times to release the tires. |
Piston - Level 301 |
---|
Pistons have eight Pistons to knock down. When all the Pistons are down the engine explodes, hitting everything on the board one time. You must trigger and set off all Pistons to complete this objective. Lower Piston sticks with power ups or by matching the correct color tokens adjacent to the Pistons. |
Floor Mat - Level 351 |
---|
The Floor Mat must be spread over the entire game board to complete this objective. The Floor Mat can be under other blockers, which must be removed before the Floor Mat can be spread. Making matches or activating powers ups that are on top of the Floor Mat will spread the Floor Mat and complete this objective. |
Cassette Tape - Level 401 |
---|
Cassette Tapes are collected by hitting the Cassette Radio. Once you complete the Cassette Tape objective, the Cassette Radio is removed from the board. |
Neon Sign - Level 451 |
---|
To complete the Neon Sign objective, hit the Neon Sign eight times. Each move you make will change the Neon Sign’s color, and that is the only color match that can damage the Neon Sign in the move. You can also hit it with power ups. |
Tool Box - Level 501 |
---|
Hit the Tool Box three times and get a power up! Tool Boxes are switchable and can fall. They are not objectives (but they are really handy!) and do not need to be cleared to win the level. |
Socket Set - Level 601 |
---|
Socket Set can vary in length and shape. Remove the individual sockets from the case; when the Socket Set case is empty it is removed from the board. |
Gears - Level 701 |
---|
Gears can have up to three states. Only power ups can damage and destroy the Gears. You must clear the game board of all Gears to complete this objective. Gears can fall and be swapped. |
Traffic Lights - Level 801 |
---|
Clear the game board of all Traffic Lights by making it go through the three states of Red, Yellow, and Green. The color the Traffic Light is on is the only colored match you can use to damage the blocker. Making correct colored matches next to it or hitting it with power ups will destroy the Traffic Light. |
Truck - Lvl 901 |
---|
The Truck completely destroys/collects/completes blockers in its path. You must collect the set number of colored tokens specified on the Truck to set off the Truck. Making colored matches anywhere from the board in the color of the Truck will count towards starting the Truck. Powerups and Boosters do not affect the Truck. |
Blueprints - Level 1001 |
---|
Blueprints cover the game board, and have to be removed to complete the objectives. Blueprints cannot be moved and cannot be damaged directly. To reveal the Blueprint, collect Pencil Pots by hitting them twice. When the Blueprint is complete, it will reveal what was underneath it. Pencil Pots are switchable and can fall. |
Bucket & Sponge - Level 1101 |

Hit a Bucket three times to create foam and make it spit out Sponges to collect. Players must collect all Sponges spawned from Bucket to complete this objective. Sponges take two hits to remove. When all the Sponges have been spawned, the buckets flip over. |
Color Boxes - Level 1201 |
---|
Color Boxes are just like Boxes… but in color! They take up to five hits, and can only be damaged by power ups and adjacent matches of the same color. |
Steering Wheel - Level 1301 |
---|
Steering Wheels must be hit twice. First remove the Steering Wheel Lock with a power up (matches won’t work), then remove the Steering Wheel with either an adjacent match or power up. Steering Wheels are switchable and can fall. |
Bobbleheads - Level 1401 |
---|
Bobbleheads take eight hits to remove.
Vans and boxes are stationary, but Bobblehead boxes and the Bobbleheads are switchable and can fall. |
Steel Shredder - Level 1501 |
---|
Steel Shredder is a blocker in game with variable length. Players must clear the board of Steel Shredders to complete this objective. It takes one hit per tile to clear Steel Shredder. Only power ups will damage and destroy Steel Shredder. |
Nitrous Canisters - Level 1601 |
---|
Hit Nitrous Canisters twice to activate them. When activated, three Nitrous Canisters will fly and damage or destroy three objectives on the board. Nitrous Canisters are switchable and can fall. They are not an objective and do not need to be removed to complete the board. |
Paint Cans - Level 1701 |
---|
It takes two hits to clear Paint Cans. The first hit opens the can to reveal the paint color. To remove it, match next to the can with the matching color, or hit it with a power up. Paint cans can fall. |
Car Batteries - Level 1801 |
---|
Car Batteries appear in groups, all wired together. It takes five hits to remove a Car Battery, but if you destroy one, all the linked batteries are also removed! |
Air Filters - Level 1901 |
---|
It takes three hits to clean Air Filters and clear them from the board. They can be switched and will fall. |
Fire Cabinet - Level 2001 |
---|
The Fire Cabinet must be emptied to complete this objective. First, hit it with a power up to open it. Subsequent hits by power ups or matches remove the fire extinguishers one by one. It will take a total of seven hits to clear the Fire Cabinet. |
Fan - Level 2201 |
---|
The Fan is your objective, but you’ll need to knock its case off first! Match next to this blocker to remove the case, then the Fan becomes switchable and can fall. Matches and powerups will remove Fans from the board. |
Toy Car - 2401 |
---|
Toy Cars can be tricky! They will move up the board one row each move you make. They are removed by matching colors or by hitting them with a power-up.
Toy Cars can make their own match when they advance. They can be swapped, can fall, and will stop advancing if there is no tile above them. |
Turbo Charger - Level 2801 |
---|
It will take five hits to destroy and remove the Turbo Charger, which is switchable and explodes when destroyed. The explosion will do one hit to adjacent tiles and blockers. |
Suspension - Level 3001 |
---|
Suspension needs four hits or adjacent matches to be removed and can fall if you remove tokens below it. |
CD Player - Level 3341 |
---|
Collect CDs by hitting the CD Player with power ups! After collecting enough CDs, the CD Players are removed from the board. |
Gas Pump - 3561 |
---|
Five hits or adjacent matches will destroy the Gas Pump. On destruction it will replace the most common token color with red tokens! |
Dark Smoke - Level 3901 |
---|
Dark Smoke covers tiles, concealing what is underneath. You must clear the board of Dark Smoke to complete this objective. It will take two hits or adjacent matches to clear the Dark Smoke. |
